Jose Canseco’s Twin, Ozzie Canseco Arrested on DUI Charge in Florida.
Ozzie Canseco, a former major league baseball player, was arrested on a DUI charge in Tampa, Florida. According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office police report, Canseco — the twin brother of former Oakland A’s slugger Jose — was arrested with an alcohol level of .109, slightly above the legal limit.
The 46-year old was booked for DUI charge and held on $500 bond. This was not Canseco’s first brush with the law. Back in 2002, Canseco was arrested for battery charges. He was also arrested in 2003 after authorities found illegal anabolic steroids in his vehicle during a traffic stop.
Both brothers were also found guilty on charges related to a 2001 nightclub brawl.
